Son of a teacher loved by her students and of a well-known advertising creative. For as long as I can remember, my father would tell me and my 5 siblings about the campaigns he had come up with and, without any compassion, we would tear them apart at the dinner table.
100% aware of how absorbing, perverse and wonderful this job was, I studied advertising in my native country, Santiago de Chile, to later do a postgraduate degree in creativity at Saint Martins College in London.
I started my professional career at DDB Chile as a copywriter. After a year, I moved to Madrid to work in agencies such as Tiempo BBDO, Sra. Rushmore and Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi. In the latter, I became creative director, and then I was part of the launch of the prestigious independent agency El Ruso de Rocky. In 2016 I joined McCann Madrid as Creative Director, and then I was promoted to Group Creative Director.
In October 2023 I started a new phase in New York as associate creative director at The Community NY, a position I continue to hold today.
In my career I have worked for renowned brands such as IKEA, Coca-Cola, Toyota, Volkswagen,Taco Bell or Schweppes, leading important local and global campaign launches.
More than 200 awards in national and international festivals, including Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, Clio, Effie and more.
